Abstract
The mass and level of development of some articles of the body ostriches (Struthio camelus) black-necked and blue-necked subspecies in breeding populations in closed over 6 years are investigated. The parameters of the correlation between body weight and level of development of the studied traits are identified. The given the internal population dynamics and the current state of the level of development of certain characteristics of the exterior and body mass herd blue-necked ostriches, it is advisable to lay the basis for their specialized meats line are substantiated.
