Abstract
In acute experiments on spinal rats intoxicated by cobra venom extracellular recorded background and evoked activities of spinal cord single motoneurons were investigated. The protective effect of the choline ester N – (2-metoxybenzoil) – O – isopropyl – α, β - dehydrothyrosine on consequences of venom intoxication was observed on rats. The purpose of the present research also was to study the feature of thyroid stimulating hormone and thyroid hormones concentration in blood serum with cobra venom intoxication, before and after influence of ultra-low dose of choline ester N – (2-metoxybenzoil) – O – isopropyl – α, β - dehydrothyrosine. Researches have shown that rats at cobra venom intoxication had sharp increase of thyroid stimulating hormone level and insignificant decrease of the level of thyroid hormones in blood serum. After the action of ultra-low dose of choline ester N – (2-metoxybenzoil) – O – isopropyl – α, β – dehydrothyrosine, in blood serum of intoxicated rats took place the sharp decrease of thyroid stimulating hormone concentration and slight increase of the level of thyroid hormones with achievement of their values at intact animals.
