Abstract
As a result of the analysis of scientific literature the modern directions of researches in the field of reforestation and formation of plantings are established: overgrowing of lands grassy and wood vegetation; processes of natural renewal in various territories; influence of cabins on restoration processes; reforestation on arid lands; biotic and abiotic factors of influence on renewal; restoration of plantings on a suktsessionny basis; theoretical questions of reforestation.
