Abstract
The purpose of this report is the analysis of the existent investigations of the dynamic characteristics of biological objects with the laser heterodyne receiver of scattered radiation. The measurements of the nerve displacements, the obtaining of the frequency spectrum of the light scattered through the breast, the optical vibrocardiography and the application of this self-mixing laser method for estimation of the average size of plankton in seawater are viewed. The laser heterodyne receiver of scattered radiation for the future experiments with biological objects in vivo are described.

Keywords: laser heterodyne receiver, nano-microvibrations, nerve displacements, optical vibrocardiography
