Abstract
This paper describes the mechanism of formation of the natural and conventional linear ball lightning, starting with the question of the mechanism of energy costs for their occurrence. As it turned out, this mechanism is also the mechanism of the formation of the magnetic field of the planet, and is therefore considered the question of the formation of magnetic fields of the planets in the solar system.
